We call ourselves "the hotel just outside the town". This has a double meaning. The municipal centre in Strand, Jørpeland has town status and is just a 12-minute drive from the hotel, and Stavanger is just a 25 minute ferry passage from Tau.

Lilland Hotel is centrally located at Tau, within walking distance of the fery landing for the Stavanger ferry. Tau is an important traffic junction in Ryfylke, whether you come by the Stavanger-Tau ferry service or Lauvik-Oanes.

As our guest you stay in a strategic location in relation to the many experiences offered by the Ryfylke countryside; Pulpit Rock, the Lyse fjord, islands and skerries, Holtavatnet (lake), etc.
